It was 7pm on a Tuesday and Drink Shop Do was teeming with people, mostly softcore hipsters in twos and threes, each little group sat at a rickety table with cocktails and cake.

Mike and I have a system: I cook, and he washes up. It works extremely well – I hate cleaning, and Mike can’t even chop an onion without a) nearly lopping a finger off and b) bursting into tears. (Sensitive eyes, apparently.)

I’ve recently discovered a secret pocket of Marylebone oozing with amazing little restaurants. It’s called Seymour Place, and I’d never heard of it until the developers got in touch to tell me about a new Italian restaurant in the area, Bernardi’s, which turned out to be so good I went twice in as many weeks.
